The Capital Area Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association is seeking enthusiastic and engaged Penn Staters to serve on our Board of Directors. Two board positions will become available as current member terms expire, creating an opportunity for new voices and ideas to help guide the Chapter’s future.
Board members serve a three-year term and play an important role in supporting the Chapter’s mission of connecting alumni, promoting Penn State pride, supporting students, and strengthening our impact throughout the Capital Region. Members help provide leadership and input on Chapter activities, community engagement, alumni programs, student support initiatives, and future opportunities.
Serving on the Board is designed to be both meaningful and manageable. Board meetings are held every other month and are conducted virtually, allowing members to participate conveniently while contributing their experience, ideas, and passion for Penn State.
We welcome alumni from all backgrounds, graduation years, campuses, and professional experiences. Whether you are a long-time volunteer or looking for your first opportunity to give back, your perspective can help make a difference.
