Join us in volunteering to Support Ronald McDonald House “Meals from the Heart” Program
The Capital Area Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association is proud to announce our participation in the Ronald McDonald House “Meals from the Heart” program, an opportunity for Penn Staters to come together in service and provide comfort and support to families during challenging times.
Through this program, Chapter volunteers will prepare and serve a meal for the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House. These families often spend long days supporting children receiving medical care, and a freshly prepared meal provides a small but meaningful way to show kindness, encouragement, and community support.
The Capital Area Chapter will be donating the food for this event, and we are seeking six volunteers to help prepare and serve the meal. Volunteer opportunities are limited due to program guidelines, so participation will be filled on a first-come basis.
Volunteer Details:
- Number of Volunteers Needed: 6
- Date: To be scheduled based on volunteer availability
- Day: Weekend date to be selected
- Time Commitment: Approximately 2.5 hours

This is a wonderful opportunity to represent the Penn State values of service, leadership, and community involvement while making a positive impact for families who truly appreciate the support.
If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the Capital Area Chapter and indicate your availability. Once the volunteer team is confirmed, we will coordinate with Ronald McDonald House to select a date that works for the group.

Thank you for helping us continue the Penn State tradition of giving back.
We Are… making a difference!
