Capital Area Chapter Recognizes the Dedicated Service of Retiring Board Members Michelle Geppert and Jodi Raudenbush
The Capital Area Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association extends its sincere appreciation and gratitude to retiring Board Members Michelle Geppert and Jodi Raudenbush for their outstanding dedication, leadership, and multi-term service to the Chapter and the Penn State community.
Serving on a volunteer board requires a significant commitment of personal time, energy, creativity, and passion. Board members are the foundation of the Chapter’s ability to deliver meaningful programs, strengthen alumni connections, support our communities, and advance the mission of the Penn State Alumni Association. Michelle and Jodi exemplified the very best of that volunteer spirit throughout their years of service.
During their tenure, both Michelle and Jodi went far beyond simply attending meetings — they were active leaders, Chapter officers, and driving forces behind many of the initiatives and events that have shaped the Chapter experience. Through their proactive involvement, they helped create, organize, and manage events that brought Penn Staters together, promoted service and philanthropy, and strengthened the bond between alumni, friends, and the University.
Their willingness to step forward, take ownership, and contribute their talents has left a lasting impact on the Capital Area Chapter. The success of a volunteer organization depends on individuals who are willing to lead, and Michelle and Jodie consistently demonstrated the dedication, teamwork, and commitment that define Penn Staters.
In recognition of their years of service and contributions, Michelle and Jodie were presented with Nittany Lion Elm Collection Statues as a symbol of the Chapter’s appreciation and as a lasting reminder of the positive impact they have made.
On behalf of the entire Capital Area Chapter Board and membership — thank you, Michelle and Jodi, for your leadership, dedication, and service. Your contributions have strengthened our Chapter and will continue to benefit the Penn State community for years to come.
We Are!
